NORTH TO KATHERINE

After the Blackall workshops we headed out through Western Queensland and up into the Northern Territory.

We found ourselves in Katherine for the annual rodeo. The town was busy, but we were able to stay at the show ground where the rodeo was held, so we got to see all the practice and preparation before the events.

  2. Hello John & Dianne,

It sounds like you had a fantastic trip. Lots of paintings in the making I guess, and great action shots.

I hope your trip to Vietnam goes well in October, I know Kerry is looking forward to it.

    Happy travels,

  3. Hi John & Dianne,
I can’t believe we were in Katherine on the very same days as you! We were there for the rodeo and stayed in the caravan park down the road. It was on our way back from a big trip to the NT to the Daly River Mango Farm and Litchfield NP. We arrive home tomorrow after diverting south to Yamba for a week’s r & r. Hope you had a great trip. Your photos are fantastic as usual!
    Cheers

      • Haha! I can see we should definitely have been looking at the hats! Yes, we did have a great trip and hope you had the same. Tonight is our last night away – home tomorrow. Yes, it would be lovely to catch up with you soon! Enjoy Vietnam!
        Cheers
        Colleen
