What a lot of fun to wander around the city of London with a little, inconspicuous camera…
Big Red Bus
Brompton Cemetery
Victoria and Albert Museum
Royal Albert Hall
The Royal Box RAH
Lunch at the Hop Pole
Earl’s Court Station
Tate Modern
Small patch of sun – St. Paul’s Cathedral
Boats on the Thames
Great photos, what sort of camera do you use?
Hi Marianne,
I have just started using a Panasonic GX9. My big full frame Canon with a couple of lenses was a real back breaker when traveling. The new Panasonic is less than 1/4 the weight and has a coverage from 24 – 600 using two fairly small lenses – very happy with it.
Cheers
John
Your pictures are phenomenal. I have always thought one sees so much more of a scene in a black and white image because the artist had to put more thought into composing that picture. One needs to look for textures, contrast and subject matter—something that is going to grab the viewer’s attention or they won’t bother to look at it for more than a second. Thank you so much for sharing your talent and skill with us.
Really awesome pictures John!
Thanks John. Love the photos
