LONDON B&W

What a lot of fun to wander around the city of London with a little, inconspicuous camera…

    • Hi Marianne,
I have just started using a Panasonic GX9. My big full frame Canon with a couple of lenses was a real back breaker when traveling. The new Panasonic is less than 1/4 the weight and has a coverage from 24 – 600 using two fairly small lenses – very happy with it.
      Cheers
      John

  1. Your pictures are phenomenal. I have always thought one sees so much more of a scene in a black and white image because the artist had to put more thought into composing that picture. One needs to look for textures, contrast and subject matter—something that is going to grab the viewer’s attention or they won’t bother to look at it for more than a second. Thank you so much for sharing your talent and skill with us.

  2. Absolutely fabulous set of B&W photos of my favourite City. Proof indeed that the BIG DSL camera has passed its use-by-date when travelling! U3A Mornington (Jan Oliver colleague
